Hello friends! Our slow down sessions are back!
If you’re new to this space, here’s the rundown.
I’m not a coach, I’m not a therapist. I’m a wee little ole human being currently in the very messy process of exploring parenting, creativity, partnering (as in how the heck to be a good one) and being radically honesty with myself…even when it makes me cry. I’m actively rearranging my life as this exploration deems necessary. With that comes much to share and commiserate about with other fellow humans who are also exploring (imperfectly!) things of this nature.
The slow down sessions are a blab fest, poetry reading, an OMG I found this book and let me share this bit, jot it all down, take a minute to think, write, reflect, laugh and share with other humans who are trying to do the same.
What to bring: A good old pen and something to write on. And I’d find a quiet place to listen in and participate. Sometimes our chats aren’t kid appropriate :)
Tomorrow’s Theme: Finding the line between the most generous (loving / gorgeous) versions of ourselves and the boundaries which keep us from going insane.
Basically when you start feeling angry while being generous that’s a clue!!! That’s your line. I will share some lovely anecdotes of my personal line in the sand moments; where my parenting and creative dreams (i.e. fantasies) met my real life children.
Heads up! We are no longer going to offer recorded sessions after the fact. It just wasn’t feeling great to record such an intimate space. So get your tushy a cup of something to sip on and hop into the session. The slow down is waiting for you.
